Role Snapshot
Convention Stage Crew Volunteers assist the National FFA Organization with all aspects of their national convention in Indianapolis, including set-up, production, and tear-down of stage elements and award ceremonies.
Key Responsibilities: Volunteers prepare props and materials, manage award tables, coordinate backstage activities, line up award recipients and special guests, and assist with loading in/out and marking reserved seating throughout convention sessions.
Skills & Tools: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry loads up to 50 pounds, work efficiently in fast-paced environments, and move freely throughout the venue; prior backstage or event production experience is preferred.
Qualifications: Prior experience in backstage work is preferred; applicants must be available to arrive Sunday before convention and depart Sunday after (October 26 - November 2).
Location: Indianapolis, Indiana
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $0 - $15/hour based on title, seniority, and location.
