Summary

Contract role supporting accessibility remediation of documents in MS Office and PDF formats to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. Focuses on improving document structure, readability, and usability through defined templates and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities: Remediate documents in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF by fixing issues like missing alt text, improper heading structure, reading order, and labeling. Perform accessibility checks using tools, validate against checklists, document updates, and support senior team members on larger remediation projects.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and PDF editing tools, knowledge of WCAG 2.1 AA standards, and familiarity with accessibility validation tools. Strong attention to detail, ability to follow guidelines and templates, and capacity to implement feedback from reviews.
Qualifications: 0–1 year of professional experience; entry-level role open to freshers or early-career professionals. Basic understanding of accessibility principles preferred; willingness to learn and participate in training on accessibility standards.
Location: Onsite, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India (India-based candidates only)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹2,50,000 – ₹4,00,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

We’re identifying detail-oriented professionals to support accessibility remediation of documents across MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This role focuses on improving the structure, readability, and usability of existing content using defined templates and guidelines.

What you’ll do

• Remediate documents in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and PDF to meet accessibility standards
• Fix common issues such as missing alt text, improper heading structure, reading order, and labeling
• Apply consistent formatting using styles, layouts, and templates
• Perform checks using accessibility tools and follow defined validation checklists
• Document updates clearly and implement feedback from reviews
• Support larger remediation efforts alongside senior team members
• Participate in training sessions on accessibility standards and tools
