Job Description:
We’re seeking a detail-oriented, analytical, and execution-driven Jr. Sales Operations Analyst to join our Sales Operations team, which plays a critical role in enabling and accelerating sales performance. This role will primarily manage the day-to-day operations of sales compensation, while also contributing to reporting, tooling, and process improvements that support the broader sales organization. You’ll collaborate closely with Sales, HR, Payroll, and Finance to ensure scalable, compliant, and data-informed operations that help drive growth.
Responsibilities:
- Calculate and validate monthly and quarterly commissions in alignment with compensation plans
- Collaborate with Sales, Finance, and Payroll to ensure timely and accurate payouts
- Maintain auditable records for commission processing and approvals
Sales Reporting & Analytics
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports to provide insights into sales performance, compensation metrics, and growth opportunities
- Analyze trends in attainment, earnings, and territory performance to support strategic planning
- Partner with sales leadership to deliver actionable insights that improve forecasting, productivity, and goal setting
Sales Enablement & Process Optimization
- Support the design and rollout of sales mechanisms, tools, and processes that improve efficiency and effectiveness across the sales organization
- Collaborate with Sales Operations teammates to identify and implement improvements in pipeline management, territory alignment, and performance tracking
- Contribute to initiatives that enhance rep experience and drive operational excellence
Stakeholder Support & Issue Resolution
- Act as the primary point of contact for commission-related inquiries, delivering timely and accurate responses
- Work cross-functionally to resolve exceptions
- Document and track resolution outcomes for transparency and compliance
Systems & Tools
- Support the maintenance and enhancement of compensation systems
- Partner with IT and Finance to implement automation and system improvements
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required in Business, Finance, Analytics, or a related field
- 1–2 years of experience in compensation, data analytics, sales operations, or payroll
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Power BI, QuickSight)
- Familiarity with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or Dynamics
