Role Snapshot
As a Publisher in Oxford University Press's Journals Editorial team, you will manage a portfolio of society journals in social sciences and humanities, driving excellence and financial contribution through strategic contract negotiations and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities: Manage and develop a portfolio of society journals, negotiate and renew contracts with society partners, collaborate across functional departments to deliver excellent service, and oversee transitions for newly acquired titles while ensuring revenue, quality, and profitability targets are met.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical ability, excellent organizational skills, and proven ability to manage client relationships and drive cross-functional collaboration.
Qualifications: Publishing or transferable professional experience with proven ability to manage a client list and understanding of academic publishing workflows and industry trends preferred.
Location: New York, New York
Compensation: $68K–$96K/yr
