Role Snapshot
Join Achievement Network as an Instructional Content Writer to create high-quality K-12 assessments and instructional materials that drive impactful learning outcomes for students. You'll develop standards-aligned formative products that provide teachers and leaders with data to support student achievement.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and write assessment content aligned with K-12 standards, design various assessment item types, and gather feedback from stakeholders to revise materials. You'll also provide quality feedback to assessment writers, research content standards, develop instructional support materials, and meet project deadlines.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in K-12 instructional content with strong communication abilities, task prioritization, and a data-oriented mindset. Working knowledge of assessment design principles, state standards like Common Core, and ability to work effectively under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications: Prior K-12 classroom teaching experience and expertise in content areas such as ELA, Math, or Literacy. Solid understanding of state instructional standards and assessment design best practices.
Location: Boston, Massachusetts
Compensation: $25β$38/hr
