As a Compensation Specialist on our HR team, you’ll play a crucial role in administering and coordinating Booster’s compensation plans, ensuring smooth and accurate processes that support every team member. You’ll partner closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to create clear compensation deliverables, manage merit and bonus processes, and ensure we stay competitive and compliant. How You’ll Impact Booster’s Mission:

Compensation Deliverables & Documentation

Create, design, and produce a variety of resources including compensation deliverables for bonus payments, end of year statements, and merit deliverables.
Ensure all resources are accessible to HRGs & managers, within Workday, and organized in an accessible manner within private folders.
Ensure compensation plans are documented properly with annual agreements to ensure followthrough on bonus/commission payments and clarity on compensation plans for team members.

Analysis & Administration

Conduct market research and salary benchmarking to maintain competitive compensation structures.
Develop and update compensation policies and guidelines in alignment with company objectives and federal, state, and city level legislation.
Review and build deliverables for compensation changes.
Coordinate and ensure the merit review process is completed in a timely and organized manner.
Assist as needed with benefit analysis and administration.

Collaboration & Support

Work closely with HR, Finance, and Operations to coordinate commission and bonus payments for the close of the fall and spring semesters.
Support HR Generalists to ensure compensation changes are consistent and fair organizationally, and are properly implemented and documented.

What You’ll Bring to the Table:

2–4 years of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or related roles
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and professionalism
High level of confidentiality and integrity*
Experience with Workday preferred
Proficiency in Google Workspace, Mac Apps, and Asana (or similar tools)
Project management experience is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred
Previous administrative or HR support experience, preferably in a corporate or educational setting
