Role Snapshot

Lead engineering teams at Craft Education (part of WGU) to develop innovative educational technology solutions addressing skilled labor shortages through work-based learning. Drive product development, establish technical vision, and manage project execution while mentoring engineers.

Key Responsibilities: Lead engineering teams in product development and integration, provide technical vision and standards, manage team members with training and direction. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, developers, and subject matter experts to establish technical vision and optimize performance for high utilization and accessibility.

Skills & Tools: Strong technical leadership with expertise in web-based application development, excellent communication and project management abilities, and proven mentoring capability for engineering teams across front-end, back-end, QA, and cloud engineering.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience with 6 years of relevant experience and 2 years in a leadership role preferred. Master's degree and startup environment experience are advantageous.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: $148K–$244K/yr
