Role Snapshot
Envision Education is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to oversee full-scope HR functions across its charter school network, supporting employee engagement, benefits administration, and compliance. This mission-driven role will help shape a positive, equitable workplace culture within an anti-racist, pro-Black educational organization.
Key Responsibilities: Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and recruitment; administer benefits programs and CALSTRS for certificated employees; serve as primary point of contact for employee relations and policy interpretation; and support engagement initiatives and talent development.
Skills & Tools: 3+ years of HR experience with strong knowledge of California labor laws, HRIS systems proficiency, and Google Workspace competency. Emotional intelligence, collaborative problem-solving, and commitment to equity-focused practices are essential.
Qualifications: Experience in education or nonprofit sectors with a demonstrated commitment to anti-racist and pro-Black frameworks. PHR or SHRM-CP certification is preferred.

Compensation: $85K–$95K/yr
