Role Snapshot
Director of Federal Government Affairs to lead advocacy efforts for the National Alliance for Public Charter Schools at the federal level. Will represent the charter school movement before Congress, federal agencies, and the executive branch.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in federal legislative and appropriations processes with strong communication and relationship-building abilities across the political spectrum. Strategic planning capabilities and political acumen required to navigate bipartisan contexts and drive policy outcomes.
Qualifications: 7+ years of experience in federal government, legislative affairs, or public policy with meaningful Capitol Hill experience. Track record of achieving ambitious policy goals and engaging stakeholders across political spectrum.
Location: Washington
Compensation: $85K–$110K/yr
