Lakeshore Learning Materials is seeking a per diem K-5 Professional Development Consultant to design and deliver in-person and virtual training for educators and administrators, supporting effective elementary instruction for their customers.

Key Responsibilities: Create and facilitate in-person and/or virtual professional development sessions for customers, including teachers, parents, and district and state administrators, while collaborating with company executives and colleagues and traveling within the United States.

Skills & Tools: Strong knowledge of evidence-based instructional practices, excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills, familiarity with current educational standards and frameworks, and strong attention to detail and deadlines.

Qualifications: Real-world elementary (pre-K-5) classroom experience is essential, along with experience supporting adult learners through professional development, coaching, or facilitation; must reside within 45 miles of a major international airport.

Job Description

**OUR TEAM IS EXPANDING! WE ARE INTERESTED IN PER DIEM / CONSULTANT-BASED CANDIDATES!

We are currently searching for a knowledgeable and experienced pre-K-5 Professional Development Consultant who is passionate about elementary education. In this per diem position, you will create and facilitate in-person and/or virtual training sessions for our customers. A successful candidate will have in-depth knowledge of education, evidence-based instructional practices and experience supporting adult learners through professional development, coaching, and/or facilitation. You should be familiar with current educational standards, initiatives, and instructional frameworks impacting elementary schools. Real-world classroom experience is essential. Additionally, excellent interpersonal skills, adherence to deadlines, and attention to detail are a must. You will be working closely with company executives and a variety of colleagues and customers—from parents and teachers to high-level administrators at the district and state levels.

This position requires travel within the United States and residency within 45 miles of a major international airport.
