Summary

Project Manager (TX- remote)

Your Role:

As the Project Manager,  you will be responsible for the coaching, training, and advisory service success for this project. This role will project manage all activities related to Shine’s involvement in the project, such as: logging all coaching data using Monday.com, coordinating scheduling for sessions, and ensuring all project activities are on track and aligned with the overall contract requirements. The project manager will be the primary contact for coordination and administration of services and will ensure that timelines, quality standards, and reporting requirements are met through the course of this project.

What You’ll Do:

● Manage the overall contract successfully

● Attend required trainings, including Thrive Pathway© Core Business Coaching (3 days) and Group Coaching Delivery Training (2 days)

● Participate in virtual and in-person meetings with Civitas, Shine Early Learning, and other partners

● Log data in Monday.com for coaching

● Coordinate scheduling with business coaches and Civitas organized cohorts Maintains a caseload of Texas Family Child Care Homes

● Facilitate the distribution of 500 EAP licenses and ensures that members can utilize all included EAP materials

● Oversee the development and refinement of learning tracks and materials, ensuring they meet the needs of diverse providers across Texas, including underrepresented communities

● Manage time effectively to optimize support for the team while staying within the assigned budget

● Provide oversight of one-on-one coaching (in English and Spanish) to family child care providers, focusing on business operations, licensing support, QRIS advancement, and financial foundations

● Oversee facilitation of group coaching tracks (micro learning cohorts), delivering structured sessions using workbooks and guides designed for specific business topics such as cash flow, budgeting, and Pre-TRS preparation

● Refer programs to non-business specialized outside support and resources, such as those available through state licensing, child care resource & referral agencies, Texas Association for the Education of Young Children (TAEYC), among others

● Collaborate with business coaches and Civitas to align coaching services with the broader Texas early learning landscape

● Achieve compliance with project deliverables

● Oversee participation in and facilitation of a diverse and representative Advisory Committee, ensuring provider voices shape ongoing service delivery

● Utilize Monday.com for data entry, session tracking, and reporting of project activities

● Participate in assigned meetings, events and training as required

What You Bring:

1. Bachelor’s in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or a related field preferred

2. Minimum of 5 years experience supporting individuals in understanding their personal or business finances

3. Minimum of 2 years experience in consulting, advising, or coaching

4. Minimum 2 years experience in the Early Education sector

5. Thrive Pathway© Business Coaching Certification preferred

6. Bi-lingual preferred (Spanish)

7. Physical exam and background checks are required for this position

8. Travel is required locally or long-distance up to 15% of the time for work-related meetings and functions; must have reliable personal transportation as travel from site to site is required

9. Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

10. Texas residency required
