Our team of more than 2,500 employees is composed of lifelong learners who stand behind this mission, working tirelessly to serve the educational community with world-class programs and support every day. *** We are seeking candidates with subject matter expertise (SME) in Literacy.*** Essential duties/responsibilities:  Execute content development tasks (instructor-led training, eLearning, microlearning, and other formats) to support literacy product training for IST. Lead content development across multiple formats and content areas for literacy products, including higher-visibility deliverables. Serve as the subject matter expert and go-to resource for literacy product content, reducing rework and equipping IST to effectively support and train on literacy products. Serve as a primary point of contact between LXR and IST on literacy product learning needs. Synthesize input from the Stakeholder Program Manager, Product Development, and Product Marketing to inform literacy content strategy. Partner with Content and Learning Experience Program Managers to ensure literacy training aligns with platform capabilities, established content standards, and learner needs. Support learning management system (LMS) administration and content uploads for literacy learning materials. Facilitate training sessions as needed, including scheduled events and ad hoc requests, to support IST readiness. Manage timelines and deliverables for literacy content production and deployment. Support content quality reviews and contribute to process documentation and best practices for literacy content development. Incorporate stakeholder and learner feedback to continuously improve literacy training content; proactively flag content gaps or inconsistencies. Ensure all literacy content meets accessibility, inclusivity, and regulatory compliance standards. Required Job Skills and Abilities:  Ability to guide literacy content development, training, and strategy based on deep subject-matter expertise in K–12 literacy instruction and curriculum. Ability to translate stakeholder learning needs into high-quality, learner-centered content across formats (instructor-led training, eLearning, microlearning). Ability to create, manage, and deliver accurate, timely, and engaging literacy training materials. Ability to synthesize input from Product Development, Product Marketing, and Program Managers to align content strategy. Ability to deliver both formal and ad hoc training sessions, adapting delivery methods to meet IST needs. Ability to manage timelines, deliverables, and deployment of learning materials across multiple concurrent initiatives. Ability to review literacy content for accuracy, consistency, and quality. Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS), authoring tools, and digital learning platforms. Knowledge of best practices for accessible, inclusive, and compliant learning content. Ability to interpret stakeholder and learner feedback to inform content quality review and revisions. Required Education and Experience:  Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Literacy, Communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. 3+ years of experience in learning and development or content development, preferably within K–12 education or publishing. Working knowledge of K–12 literacy curriculum standards and instructional needs. Experience with learning platforms, authoring tools, or other content-development technology preferred. Travel: Minimal (less than twice per month); may include occasional travel to support in-person training or content delivery. Working Environment: Standard office/remote working environment; regularly uses a computer for extended periods, with or without reasonable accommodation. Benefits and Pay Range: Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250 - $118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
