Summary

Part-time SIP Coordinator for Empowerly's Startup Internship Program, supporting the liaison between students and companies while managing program operations, content creation, and data analysis across 500+ students and 200+ startups annually.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as liaison between students and companies, create learning content (forms, surveys, presentations), collect and analyze feedback, develop post-mortem reports, and assist with data entry and administrative tasks to support smooth internship cycles.

Qualifications: Must be a currently enrolled U.S.-based undergraduate student at a U.S. institution and U.S. citizen; preference for self-motivated, technologically-savvy individuals who can work 15-20 hours per week with non-traditional hours availability.
Location: Remote (PDT Time Zone)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $18–$24/hour based on part-time coordinator position, undergraduate student level, edtech startup, and U.S. West Coast location.

We are seeking a self motivated, organized, and adaptable coordinator to work for Empowerly part-time in our Startup Internship Program.

The Empowerly Startup Internship Program opens doors for students, allowing them to explore career options, develop professional skills, and work with globally-minded companies to strengthen their resumes and/or college applications. Last summer, we worked with over 500 students and almost 200 startups worldwide. A highly self-motivated, technologically-savvy student who can work independently and thrive in a fast-paced environment is preferred.

  • At this time, we are only considering U.S. citizens who are based in the United States and currently enrolled in an undergraduate program at a U.S.-based institution.

  • Serve as a liaison between Empowerly students and companies by supporting and assisting students and families

  • Create learning content such as forms, surveys, FAQs, orientation presentations, etc. for each internship cycle

  • Collect and analyze company and student feedback

  • Develop post-mortem reports to analyze successes and growth areas for each internship cycle

  • Assist the SIP Program Manager with various data entry, content creation, and support tasks to keep the cycles running smoothly

  • Ability to work an average of 15-20 hours per week, and able to work non-traditional hours

  • Open to working with high school students from diverse backgrounds

  • Able to work independently and engage team members collaboratively

  • Able to work remotely with readily available internet and an appropriate workspace

  • Have excellent time management and organizational skills in order to consistently meet deadlines

  • Possess strong emotional intelligence

  • Possess strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to tell a story and inform decisions

  • Be a creative and curious problem solver with a bias towards thoughtful action and achieving results
