We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Executive Director to establish, inspire, and grow a premier educational institution rooted in academic excellence, innovation, and a commitment to student development. This is a unique chance to shape the school’s mission, build its culture, and oversee its operations from the ground up.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Vision
- Develop and articulate the school’s mission, vision, and long-term goals in collaboration with the board of directors and key stakeholders.
- Create a culture of excellence, inclusion, and innovation for students, faculty, and families.
- Represent the school as its primary leader and spokesperson in the community.
Academic Program Development
- Oversee the development and implementation of a rigorous and balanced curriculum that meets the diverse needs of K-8 learners.
- Ensure academic standards and teaching methodologies align with best practices and educational research.
- Monitor student outcomes and adjust strategies to foster continual improvement.
Operations and Management
- Recruit, hire, and develop a talented team of educators and staff who are aligned with the school’s mission and values.
- Manage daily operations, including budgeting, facilities, and compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Implement systems for tracking key operational metrics, including enrollment and financial performance.
Community Engagement
- Cultivate strong relationships with parents, students, and community partners to foster trust and collaboration.
- Plan and lead parent engagement initiatives, workshops, and events to ensure a connected and informed school community.
- Develop marketing strategies and partnerships to attract families to the school and achieve enrollment goals.
Fundraising and Financial Oversight
- Collaborate with the board to secure funding for the school’s startup and ongoing operations.
- Develop and manage the school’s budget to ensure financial sustainability and strategic growth.
- Identify grant opportunities and other resources to enhance the school’s offerings and infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
- Master’s degree in Education, Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in education or school administration, preferably in a private or independent school setting.
- Proven success in launching or growing educational programs or institutions is highly desirable.
