Role Snapshot
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) position in school-based settings implementing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques to support students with challenging behaviors and skill development. Role offers comprehensive mentoring and opportunity to positively impact students' lives.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Behavior Intervention Plans, utilize ABA techniques to manage challenging behaviors and increase student skill acquisition, and collect data to support behavioral management. Support teachers and staff in handling challenging behaviors throughout the school day.
Skills & Tools: Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) experience, in-person teaching ability, and strong collaborative skills. Bilingual Spanish abilities are preferred. Background in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or Speech-Language Pathology is advantageous.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree preferred in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field with minimum 6 months ABA experience (1 year preferred). Completion of 40 hours RBT training required; RBT certification preferred. Valid driver's license and auto insurance required.
Location: Berkeley, California
Compensation: $27–$32/hr
