Role Snapshot

A Special Education Interventionist responsible for delivering targeted small-group instruction to elementary students (K-4) who need additional academic support. This role is critical to ensuring all students achieve success through personalized intervention aligned with rigorous academic standards.

Key Responsibilities: Lead small-group and individual instruction for students requiring additional assistance while teaching a rigorous curriculum combining school and New York State standards. Continuously assess student progress, communicate results to families and colleagues, and model a commitment to student success and the school's core values.
Skills & Tools: Strong instructional and differentiation abilities in special education or intervention, excellent communication and collaboration with families and teaching teams, data-driven assessment skills, and demonstrated commitment to equity and student growth mindset.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; New York State teaching certification or eligibility in special education or elementary education preferred. Experience with small-group instruction, intervention design, or special education support in elementary settings is beneficial.
Location: In-Person - New York, NY
Compensation: $42K–$58K/yr (estimated)

Duties and Responsibilities:
