Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree and 8–10 years of relevant experience are required; an MBA or similar graduate degree is preferred, along with experience in consulting or high-growth tech companies.
Location: This position is based in San Jose, California.
Compensation: $175000 - $200000 / Annually

About the Role:
The Chief of Staff will serve as a strategic partner and trusted advisor to the General Manager of Epic Kids. You’ll play a key role in ensuring organizational alignment, supporting post-acquisition integration and stabilization, and driving execution across a variety of high-impact projects. This is a unique opportunity to gain visibility across all facets of the business while working on meaningful, fast-paced initiatives that shape the future of Epic Kids.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Post-Acquisition Stabilization
- Coordinate and support efforts related to organizational alignment, communication, and operational integration post-acquisition.
- Track progress against stabilization goals and help resolve cross-functional blockers.
- Maintain momentum on priority items and ensure follow-through on key decisions.
2. Strategic Project Execution
- Drive execution of special projects and initiatives across product, marketing, operations, content, and partnerships.
- Ensure timely delivery and clear accountability on high-priority programs.
- Support cross-functional collaboration and communication across teams.
3. Operational Excellence
- Prepare dashboards, reports, and updates for internal and external stakeholders.
- Help streamline processes and decision-making for the Business Head / General Manager and leadership team.
- Drive internal communications, leadership meetings, and business planning rhythms.
4. Thought Partnership & Leadership Support
- Serve as a thought partner to the General Manager —synthesizing inputs, surfacing issues, and offering solutions.
- Anticipate needs, prepare briefing materials, and support strategic decision-making.
- Handle sensitive issues with discretion, integrity, and sound judgment.
Who You Are:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree
- 8–10 years of professional experience, including experience in strategy, operations, consulting, or in a high-growth tech company.
- Experience supporting executive leadership, ideally during periods of transformation or growth.
- Highly organized, analytical, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and executive presence.
- Proactive, resourceful, and unafraid to roll up your sleeves.
- Passionate about kids, education, and making a lasting impact.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in consulting, edtech, consumer subscription, or media platforms.
- Familiarity with post-merger integration workstreams.
- Prior experience as a Chief of Staff or in a similar role is a plus.
- MBA or equivalent graduate degree strongly preferred

Salary Range: $175K to $200K
