Ovation seeks a dynamic and results-driven Account Executive to join their team, focusing on the Higher Education sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in higher education sales, with a keen interest in startup environments.
Major Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets within the higher education sector
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and cold calling
- Build and maintain strong relationships with professors in higher education institutions
- Utilize Salesforce to manage sales activities, track progress, and generate sales reports
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure client needs are met and to drive customer satisfaction
- Stay informed about industry trends, AI advancements, and competitive landscape to strategically position Ovation’s offerings
- Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to represent the company and generate leads
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Several years of sales experience in the higher education sector
- Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets
- Experience working in a startup environment is highly desirable
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
