Are you interested in a rare opportunity to lead a mission-driven company that is already seeing massive traction in the U.S?
Exploros is a high-impact EdTech SaaS platform dedicated to teacher-guided, real-time classroom learning. With a market-leading device-enabled learning platform for K-12 classrooms, Exploros operates two primary business lines: licensing its proprietary platform to major publishers and direct-to-district augmented curriculum sales.
They are seeking a sales-driven CEO to lead their next phase of expansion. The founder will transition to a product and innovation-focused role, allowing the new CEO to take full ownership of scaling operations, driving revenue, and leading future fundraising efforts. You’ll have the autonomy to build the commercial engine of a SaaS-based EdTech innovator while partnering with a founder who has built a world-class educational tool.
Major Responsibilities
- Scale the Business: Lead the transition from an early-stage company to a high revenue and profit enterprise by optimizing sales engines and operational efficiency.
- Drive Revenue: Take a hands-on approach to closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals with K-12 school districts and state adoption boards.
- Fundraising & Investor Relations: Steer future fundraising rounds, managing relationships with current and prospective investors.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a growth strategy that capitalizes on current momentum in the Southeast and beyond.
- Collaborative Innovation: Partner closely with the Founder/Chief Innovation Officer to ensure product-market fit remains aligned with aggressive sales goals.
- Team Management: Lead and inspire a distributed, remote-first team, fostering a culture of accountability and mission-driven excellence.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven Scale Experience: You have successfully grown revenue/scaled a SaaS or EdTech business as a CEO or a high-performing COO/VP of Sales.
- Sales-First Pedigree: You must have a background in sales leadership. This is not a role for a pure product or marketing executive.
- K-12 Expertise: A track record of closing large-scale deals involving curriculum and platform licensing. Familiarity with state adoptions is highly preferred.
- Fundraising Track Record: Demonstrated ability to drive fundraising efforts and manage board-level communications.
- Scrappy & Hands-on: Ability to excel in a lean, remote environment. You are willing to "roll up your sleeves" rather than just managing from the top.
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in using analytics to guide decision-making and forecast growth accurately.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel significantly, particularly to key markets like Texas, Alabama, and Florida.
- Location: Remote (Eastern or Central Time Zone preferred)
