Summary
The Sr. Director of Public Policy and Advocacy leads the development and implementation of public policy strategies to advance SEMI members' interests in the microelectronics and semiconductor industry. This role involves representing member priorities to U.S. lawmakers and shaping policies that support innovation and growth in the sector.
Key Responsibilities: Represent public policy priorities to lawmakers, administration officials, and their staff through presentations, testimonies, and meetings. Manage advocacy teams, develop policy materials, participate in coalition work, and oversee programs that benefit member organizations.
Skills & Tools: Strong verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills with a team-oriented attitude and willingness to travel. Experience managing and training advocacy teams with ability to influence policymakers and navigate complex political landscapes.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in public policy or related field with 9+ years of relevant public policy experience. Knowledge of the semiconductor industry is preferred.
Location: Hybrid in Washington, D.C., United States
Compensation: $185,000 β $216,800/year
