Role Snapshot

Senior Instructional Designer role at USAA focused on creating strategic learning experiences for Real Estate Lending operational changes. Partner with business SMEs to design and develop engaging curriculum that supports employee skill development and process adoption.

Key Responsibilities: Develop strategic design initiatives and learning solutions aligned with business goals, collaborate with cross-functional teams as liaison between design and stakeholders, measure curriculum effectiveness and learner performance, and mentor peer team members. Manage vendor relationships, conduct peer reviews for quality assurance, and provide recommendations based on performance analysis.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) and authoring tools (Articulate Storyline 360), strong project management and organizational abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and expertise in translating complex methodologies to diverse teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related experience required; 6+ years of progressive instructional design experience with complex projects and demonstrated advanced knowledge of ID methodologies and multimedia development tools.
Location: Phoenix
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $85,000 โ€“ $110,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.
