Your Role
We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our sales team and focus on bringing new teams to Hudl (growing market share) and selling add-on products to current teams (increasing customer spend and probability of renewal). This position will sit within Hudl's Elite American Football Sales Group. You will take on an existing territory of customers along with yet to be closed business. You will partner with a Customer Success Manager to maintain and grow your territory year on year, introduce new products, drive engagement, and overcome objections to help Hudl continue to win in American Football.
As an Account Executive, you'll:
- Drive revenue growth. You'll surpass aggressive revenue goals by building a Territory Success Plan, maximizing deal value through effective negotiation, and achieving activity metrics daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Build long lasting relationships. You'll have deep understanding and high product knowledge across relevant product lines to have high level conversations with high level customers (athletic directors, head coaches, etc.).
- Forecast and report with accuracy. You'll maintain an accurate Salesforce pipeline by properly moving opportunities and evaluating deals for the appropriate value. You will know where you are MTD, YTD, and Annual in terms of revenue numbers at all times.
For this role, it's preferred to have candidates who live near our offices in Lincoln or Omaha, Nebraska.
Must-Haves
- Experienced in sales. You have three or more years of proven sales experience.
- Elite product experience. Experience using Hudl Recruit, Hudl IQ and understanding of elite football video cut up and analysis tools
- Market knowledge and pipeline management. You have prior pipeline management experience and market knowledge.
- A strong communicator and negotiator. You have sales skills including negotiation, prospecting, closing, objection handling, and forecasting.
- Solution-oriented. You have sound product and industry knowledge coupled with the ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Tech savvy. Familiarity with our sales stack is a plus (Salesforce, Outreach, etc.).
- Collegiate football background. Experience with or knowledge of elite football front and back offices. This also includes an understanding of college recruiting and professional draft scouting.
- Travel expectations. Ability to travel for conferences and customer visits as needed
Nice-to-Haves
- Elite product expertise. Sportscode knowledge or hands-on experience is a plus.
- Educated. A degree is preferred.
