Summary

School Psychologist role providing psychoeducational assessments and support for students with special needs in Contra Costa County, CA. Position focuses on certifying special education eligibility and empowering positive change in students' lives.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psychoeducational assessments following state and federal guidelines, prepare comprehensive written reports with diagnoses and recommendations, and certify student eligibility for special education services. Participate in IEP meetings, provide counseling and consultative support to administrators, parents, and staff on special education procedures and mental health issues.
Skills & Tools: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills with strong proficiency in speaking, writing, and listening. Ability to work as a supportive team member and provide clear, legally defensible assessment reporting.
Qualifications: California PPS Credential required, along with fingerprint background clearance and Tuberculosis (TB) clearance. Experience in psychoeducational assessment and special education procedures preferred.
Location: Hybrid in Lincoln, California, United States (supporting students across Contra Costa County)
Compensation: $88,000 – $120,000 / annually
