Summary

Lead strategy, planning, and execution of national and regional trade shows for K-12 schools to drive brand awareness and lead generation for Finalsite's education technology platform. Own the full lifecycle of tradeshow programs aligned with marketing priorities and fiscal budgets.

Key Responsibilities: Identify and negotiate high-yield tradeshow opportunities, manage project execution across national and regional events, coordinate internal teams and communications, and develop booth experiences and marketing materials. Analyze ROI and event outcomes to inform future strategy and recommendations.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in ClickUp, HubSpot, Google Workspace, and Salesforce; strong project management, stakeholder coordination, and strategic marketing experience. Excellent communication and ability to translate brand vision into compelling event experiences.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or related field with 5+ years of experience planning and executing tradeshows and large-scale marketing events, ideally in B2B SaaS, education, or technology sectors.
Location: 100% Remote, anywhere within the United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $65,000 – $90,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE


Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of national and regional trade shows in the district and independent school end markets to drive brand awareness, engagement and tradeshow lead generation.



LOCATION

100% Remote - Anywhere within the US


RESPONSIBILITIES

Tradeshow Strategy

  • Partner with marketing and sales leadership to identify and solidify high-yield tradeshow and event lead generation opportunities aligned with marketing priorities and company goals, staying within the approved fiscal year budget.
  • Manage and nurture national and regional association relationships and negotiate sponsorships that deliver strategic benefits to Finalsite.

Tradeshow and Execution

  • Project manage and lead execution for all national and regional tradeshows in the independent and district end markets.
  • Update and maintain national and regional tradeshow project management templates in ClickUp, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Manage communication with internal teams attending shows, including coordination of meetings, creation/distribution of event playbooks and other relevant information.

Tradeshow Deliverables

  • Work with brand and product marketing to translate the brand vision into strategic event presence and experiences.
  • Refresh and maintain a catalog of event exhibits, banners, literature, swag, presentations and other relevant materials, designed for brand visibility and lead generation.
  • Develop a catalog of tradeshow booth experiences that drive booth traffic and generate interest in Finalsite’s solutions.

Tradeshow Outcomes

  • Analyze, assess, and report on success metrics including ROI to determine impact and assessment of future year search options for programs, providing summary of findings and making recommendations
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience planning and executing tradeshows, conferences, or large-scale marketing events—ideally in the B2B SaaS, education, or technology sectors.
  • Proficiency in ClickUp, HubSpot, Google Workspace and Salesforce preferred.
  • Some travel required for national shows and internal meetings
RESIDENCY REQUIREMENT
