Per Scholas seeks an IT Support Instructional Assistant to facilitate technical training for students in Baltimore, preparing them for entry to mid-level IT positions. The role is critical to the organization's mission of developing outstanding technicians through hands-on, interactive instruction.

Key Responsibilities: Assist the Technical Instructor in conducting technical training sessions, lead study groups, manage student performance, and handle administrative duties including grading and attendance tracking in Canvas. Ensure equipment accountability, implement individualized study plans for struggling students, and be prepared to conduct lessons when the instructor is unavailable.

Skills & Tools: CompTIA A+ Certification and ability to teach in a highly interactive, hands-on style are required. Strong verbal communication, excellent time management, team orientation, and flexibility to adapt to schedule changes are essential.

Qualifications: CompTIA A+ Certification is required, with previous teaching experience preferred. A passion for helping others and a collaborative work style are important; ability to lift 50 lbs frequently is necessary.

Compensation: $35K–$37K/yr
