Summary

Part-time, per diem Educational Consultant position at Curriculum Associates focused on delivering professional development to K-8 educators in Newark, NJ. Role supports teachers and school leaders in enhancing learning experiences through coaching and training.

Key Responsibilities: Facilitate high-quality professional development sessions, provide training and coaching support to educators, analyze instructional data, and communicate consultatively with teachers and school leaders. Position requires significant travel (up to 80%) to deliver professional development during school hours.

Skills & Tools: Strong knowledge of K-8 ELA and Math standards, teaching and coaching experience, proficiency with digital tools, excellent communication and organizational skills. Bilingual capability (Spanish) preferred; familiarity with adult learning principles required.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and minimum 2+ years of teaching or coaching experience required. Retired educators or those transitioning from classroom roles encouraged to apply; valid driver's license and personal transportation essential.
