Job Description

At Lakeshore, we've spent decades helping educators and families find products that make learning joyful. As Director of Digital and B2C Marketing, you'll lead the team that connects those products to the people who need them — owning our paid search, paid social, email, SMS, and push channels and shaping the end-to-end digital experience that drives customer acquisition and revenue growth. This is a high-visibility role with real ownership: you'll set the strategy, build the team's capabilities, and be accountable for results that matter to the business.

A day on the job looks like this:

  • Own the digital performance marketing roadmap — setting channel strategy, establishing KPIs, and holding the team accountable for measurable improvements in acquisition, engagement, and revenue across paid search, paid social, email, SMS, and push
  • Lead agency and internal team partnerships to identify, prioritize, and execute opportunities for conversion improvement and revenue expansion, including paid campaign launches and creative asset development
  • Drive the evolution of Lakeshore's omnichannel contact strategy, integrating data and customer insights to improve path-to-purchase performance both on-site and in-app
  • Translate performance data into clear direction — communicating priorities, budget decisions, and results to cross-functional partners and senior leadership with confidence and a compelling point of view
  • Coach, develop, and grow a high-performing digital marketing team by setting clear goals, closing capability gaps, and creating a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
  • Partner with Creative to develop insight-driven briefs and oversee the production of assets that meet both performance standards and brand quality
  • Manage and forecast the paid advertising budget, ensuring disciplined allocation across channels and a strong return on investment
