Senior full-stack developer role to design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and automation solutions across backend, frontend, cloud, and integration layers for Academian's education technology work. The role coordinates with onshore and offshore teams to deliver reliable, high-performance systems.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Golang microservices, REST APIs, and Angular front-ends on AWS, and integrate systems through event-driven processing. Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and BAs to turn business requirements into technical solutions, and provide production support.
Skills & Tools: Strong Golang, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular skills, plus AWS (S3, Lambda, EC2/ECS, RDS, SQS), PostgreSQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, CI/CD, Git, and Docker. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and cross-team coordination skills are also expected.
Qualifications: 5–8 years of full-stack software development experience is required, and a B.E/B.Tech is preferred. Experience with document processing, publishing, or EdTech is desirable but not mandatory.

Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and automation solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience across backend and frontend technologies, cloud platforms, API development, system integrations, and distributed application architectures.
The role requires strong problem-solving skills, engineering fundamentals, and the ability to work across multiple technologies while delivering reliable, maintainable, and high-performance solutions.
Coordinate with onshore/offshore teams for smooth delivery.
Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and BAs to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Required Skills
• 5–8 years of full-stack software development experience.
• Strong backend development experience with Golang and REST APIs/microservices.
• Strong TypeScript, JavaScript, and Angular development experience.
• Experience with AWS, including S3, Lambda, EC2/ECS, RDS and SQS.
• Strong understanding of SQL/PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Experience with asynchronous/event-driven processing using Kafka, RabbitMQ or SQS.
• Strong experience with automated testing, debugging, performance optimization and production support.
• Experience with CI/CD, Git and Docker.
Preferred / Specialized Skills: -
• Adobe InDesign scripting and automation using ExtendScript/JavaScript.
• Adobe UXP plugin/extension development.
• Microsoft Word automation using Office.js, Word Add-ins, Content Controls and/or OOXML.
• Experience with PDF parsing, content extraction and document transformation.
• Experience generating or manipulating structured documents using JSON, XML, HTML or OOXML.
• Experience with InDesign Server and automated print/PDF rendering.
• Experience with document-processing or content-production pipelines.
• Exposure to AI/LLM-based content extraction or document processing is a plus.
• K–12, EdTech, educational publishing or digital/print publishing experience is highly desirable.
