Key Responsibilities: Engage with strategic priorities and OKRs to define program scope and objectives, then lead delivery with accountability for business outcomes and performance metrics. Develop integrated plans accounting for commercial adoption and migration complexity, identify cross-program dependencies, and track evidence of business value post-delivery including revenue and operational efficiency gains.
Skills & Tools: Strong stakeholder management and senior-level communication skills with demonstrated ability to connect program delivery to business strategy and measurable outcomes. Experience with go-to-market planning, commercial adoption, organizational change management, portfolio management, and benefits realization.
Qualifications: Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in a commercial business environment with understanding of product, technology, commercial, and operations functions. Familiarity with investment prioritization and ability to articulate expected business outcomes and trade-offs.

Compensation: $118K–$220K/yr

Our products aim to optimize care delivery, patient experience, and financial outcomes About the Role As a Business Program Manager, you will lead the end-to-end delivery of strategic programs that drive measurable business outcomes. You will connect organizational priorities and OKRs to execution, ensuring programs are planned, delivered, and adopted effectively. Working across product, technology, commercial, and operations teams, you will help translate strategy into sustainable business value. Responsibilities Engage with and understand the strategic priorities and OKRs that define programs success. Translate organizational strategy into clear programs scope, objectives, and business outcomes. Maintain alignment between programs activity and the strategic priorities that justified investment. Support investment and prioritization decisions with a clear articulation of expected business outcomes and trade-offs. Identify dependencies and conflicts across the programs portfolio and escalate where required. Lead programs delivery with accountability for business outcomes and monitor performance against business value metrics. Develop integrated plans that account for commercial adoption, migration complexity, and customer impact. Define, track, and evidence business outcomes post-delivery, including revenue, customer adoption, and operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs in a commercial business environment. Demonstrated ability to connect programs delivery to business strategy and measurable outcomes. Strong stakeholder management and communication skills — comfortable engaging at senior leadership level. Experience working across product, technology, commercial, and operations functions. Understanding of go-to-market planning, commercial adoption, and organizational change management. Familiarity with portfolio management, investment prioritization, and benefits realization. At Elsevier, your work contributes to solving global challenges and building a more sustainable future. U.S. National Base Pay Range: $118,300 - $219,800. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in New Jersey, the base pay range is $149,765 - $239,235.
