Role Snapshot
Registered Behavior Technician role supporting children with behavior challenges in Oakland schools using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques. Position offers consistent school-day hours with guaranteed work and comprehensive support from clinical supervisors.
Key Responsibilities: Implement Behavior Intervention Plans, work with students using ABA to manage challenging behaviors and increase skill acquisition, and collect data on student progress. Support teachers and staff in managing challenging behaviors in school settings.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), ability to implement Behavior Intervention Plans, data collection and analysis, behavior management, and communication skills. Spanish bilingual abilities and strong organizational skills are advantageous.
Qualifications: Associate's Degree preferred in Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field with minimum 6 months of ABA experience required. RBT Certification preferred but not mandatory; completion of 40 hours RBT training required and valid driver's license with auto insurance proof mandatory.
Location: Oakland, California
Compensation: $27–$32/hr
