Key Responsibilities: Verify warehouse inventory against computerized WMS records, conduct inventory audits, schedule and assign inventory counts, research staging locations for accuracy, and reconcile discrepancies through detailed analysis. Learn all distribution center areas to identify and prevent inventory loss.

Skills & Tools: Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software, strong attention to detail and analytical skills, ability to organize and manage workloads, and effective communication for coordinating with team members.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; prior warehouse or distribution center experience helpful but entry-level candidates may be considered. Ability to work 1st shift on-site and learn DC operations.

Location: In-Person - Midway, KY

Compensation: $28K–$36K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a DC Clerk, 1st shift to join our team. In this role, you will ensure that company inventory remains balanced, assists in maintaining inventory records, and maintains inventory accuracy across the distribution center

A day on the job looks like this:

Checks warehouse inventory against computerized records and ensures all inventory is accounted for in WMS
Reviewing and auditing inventory activities, including movements and adjustments that occur throughout the building
Scheduling Inventory counts to clear up any discrepancies
Assign workloads to counters
Researching staging locations to ensure accuracy
Reconciling inventory discrepancies by detailed research into the different functions used throughout the warehouse
Researching previous adjustments and make new adjustments as needed
Learning all areas of the distribution center to learn how an item is lost and help promote ways to prevent inventory from becoming lost
