Summary

HR Business Partner role at Hudl supporting employee experience and serving as a strategic advisor to leaders across the EMEA region. You'll drive talent strategy, manage the employee lifecycle, and ensure alignment between talent priorities and business goals.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on employee relations, performance management, engagement and culture. Design and deliver talent strategy programs, collaborate with People Ops specialists on learning development and compensation, and make quick decisions in a high-growth environment.
Skills & Tools: Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution, data-driven decision making and analytical capabilities, change management and process innovation, strong communication and stakeholder engagement at all organizational levels, international HR expertise across EMEA.
Qualifications: 1-3 years of well-rounded HRBP or HR advisory experience with proven success in matrixed environments. International HR experience across EMEA region required; employment law knowledge in Italy, UK, Netherlands or Spain is a plus.
Location: London, United Kingdom (commuting distance required; flexible work policy with no mandatory office days)

Your Role

We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to help drive Hudl’s success by managing our employee experience and serving as a strategic partner to our leaders. You’ll provide coaching and recommendations across the employee lifecycle ensuring our talent priorities align with our business goals.

This role requires someone who can be both strategic and hands-on, providing regional support across EMEA while partnering with our experts in learning and development, talent management and compensation.

As an HR Business Partner, you’ll:

  • Be a trusted advisor. You’ll serve as a strategic partner to leaders across Hudl, coaching them on employee relations, performance management, engagement and culture.
  • Drive talent strategy. You’ll help create the talent strategy for your specific area and turn those high-level goals into executable actions.
  • Innovate and collaborate. You’ll design programs to increase team performance and work closely with the wider People Ops team to deliver seamless service to all Hudlies.
  • Move fast. Hudl is a high-growth company with plenty of challenges to tackle; you’ll use your judgment to make quick decisions and iterate as we grow.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our offices in London. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

Must-Haves

  • Experienced. You have one to three years of well-rounded HRBP or advisory experience. You’ve successfully supported teams in a matrixed environment and know how to solve real-world business problems.
  • Future-focused and analytical. You anticipate future people's needs and use data to shape your decisions. You’re comfortable building action plans and advising leaders based on clear insights.
  • A change maker. You thrive on evolution and are excited to build new processes. You don’t just adapt to change—you drive it.
  • EMEA expertise. You have international HR experience across EMEA.
  • A strong communicator. You can engage with people at every level of the organisation and are a dedicated team player

Nice-to-Haves

  • Specific legal knowledge. Experience with employment law practices in Italy, the UK, the Netherlands or Spain is a major plus.
  • Values-aligned. You have a history of building high-trust cultures and are comfortable being respectfully blunt when giving and receiving feedback.
  • Technology industry experience: If you've worked within a tech or SaaS organistion, that would beneficial.
  • Languages: If you’re fluent in either Italian or Spanish that would be a bonus!

Compensation

The base salary range for this role is displayed below—starting salaries will typically fall near the middle of this range.

We make compensation decisions based on an individual's experience, skills and education in line with our internal pay equity practices.
