Role Snapshot
Amii seeks a K-12 Education Advisor to develop and implement AI literacy programs aligned with provincial curriculum guidelines, supporting educators in building AI/ML capacity. This full-time term position until April 30, 2026 focuses on program development, stakeholder relationships, and team success in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with the AI Literacy Manager to create AI literacy programming and resources for K-12 teachers, establish stakeholder relationships with education system experts, and train teachers on AI/ML asset implementation. Maintain organizational systems for efficiency and contribute to content development that resonates with target learners.
Skills & Tools: Strong organization, communication, and public speaking abilities with experience in facilitation and K-12 teaching. Knowledge of AI and ML concepts, familiarity with educational technologies, and problem-solving collaboration skills.
Qualifications: Post-secondary degree in Education or related field with 1-3 years of K-12 or post-secondary teaching experience and demonstrated experience developing learning paths. Experience in public speaking or facilitation required.
Location: Edmonton, Alberta
Compensation: CA$60K–CA$80K/yr
