About The Role:
The Senior Manager, Consulting Services – ERP will manage a team of implementation consultants to deliver high-quality ERP solutions for K-12 school districts. This leadership role will focus on guiding the team in all phases of ERP deployment, from project scoping and planning to execution and support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ERP implementations, ideally within the K-12 education sector, and significant experience in managing and developing a team of consultants to ensure smooth and successful project outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing:
• Lead and mentor a team of ERP implementation consultants, providing direction, performance feedback, and professional development opportunities.
• Ensure that the team is aligned with project goals, timelines, and client expectations, delivering high-quality services to school district clients.
• Foster a collaborative, problem-solving culture that encourages knowledge-sharing and continuous improvement within the team.
• Evaluate team members’ strengths and areas for growth, assigning projects that leverage their skills while supporting their career development.
• Act as the leader responsible for overseeing the day-to-day work of the consulting team across multiple ERP implementation projects.
• Provide guidance on complex technical or project management challenges faced by the team during ERP deployment, configuration, and integration.
• Partner with the PMO Director to monitor project progress across all team-led initiatives, ensuring that deadlines, budgets, and client satisfaction goals are met.
• Conduct regular project reviews to ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards, resolving issues proactively.
• Serve as the primary point of escalation for both clients and consultants, addressing high-priority issues and ensuring smooth communication between the team and the school districts.
• Work closely with district leadership and key stakeholders to understand their needs, tailor implementation strategies, and ensure satisfaction with delivered ERP solutions.
Process and Methodology Development:
• Establish and enforce standardized methodologies, best practices, and tools for the team to use in ERP configuration, deployment, and training.
• Implement frameworks for documenting project processes, lessons learned, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance future projects.
• Continuously refine team workflows to optimize efficiency, client outcomes, and project profitability.
• Ensure consultants are up-to-date on the latest trends in ERP systems, education technology, and K-12 district operations.
• Ensure that consultants are equipped with the resources, training, and tools needed to provide exceptional service and support to clients.
• Oversee the development and execution of training programs led by consultants to ensure clients’ staff are well-prepared to use ERP systems post-implementation.
• Lead change management efforts to help school districts adapt to the new systems and processes introduced by the ERP implementation.
• Manage the assignment of consultants and resources to ensure optimal coverage across multiple projects, maximizing team productivity and maintaining budgetary targets.
• Assist in forecasting project revenue and resource needs, collaborating with senior leadership to align staffing and financial objectives.
• Monitor project profitability and operational efficiency, making recommendations for improvement when necessary.
What We Are Looking For:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Education Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience managing ERP implementations, with at least 3 years of experience managing a team of consultants.
• Demonstrated experience in leading teams through large-scale ERP projects, system integration, and change management.
• Proven ability to lead, mentor, and develop a team of consultants with diverse skill sets and experience levels.
• Strong project and people management skills, with a focus on fostering collaboration and driving high performance.
• Solid understanding of ERP solutions and implementation methodologies.
• Experience in data migration, system integration, and quality assurance in ERP projects.
• Familiarity with cloud-based ERP systems and associated technologies.
