DLR Group is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect.

Position Summary

As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will create innovative, sustainable, and functional site designs for a diverse clientele across the U.S. Collaborating with our integrated design teams, you will ensure that your designs enhance the architectural vision and improve human experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage workflow and projects effectively.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients within our integrated design process.
  • Create and coordinate documents using Autodesk CAD software.
  • Participate in the development and negotiation of contracts as well as service change request; and initiate review or approve modifications to plans.
  • Prepare planning and design solutions for sustainable project development, assisting through all design stages.
  • Develop site and landscape specifications.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Conduct site visits.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
  • 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in site master planning and site-specific design and construction.
  • Goal-oriented with strong problem-solving, graphic communication, and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in designing sustainable sites, landscapes, and irrigation systems.
  • Project management and construction experience.
  • Site master planning experience.
  • Familiarity with Autodesk CAD workflow and project production.
  • Knowledge of LandFx, ArcGIS, and Adobe Creative Cloud software.
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D, Lumion, Enscape, and BIM (REVIT).
  • Licensed Landscape Architect
