Sr. Technical Writer/Information Developer at MindTickle responsible for creating and maintaining clear, user-friendly product documentation and knowledge base content. Role ensures customers understand product functionality while maintaining consistency in terminology, UI messaging, and instructional quality across all documentation.
Key Responsibilities: Author and maintain MindTickle Knowledge base articles and tutorials; design release documentation for product updates; ensure product terminologies and UI messages are grammatically correct and user-friendly; participate in usability studies with design team; co-own MindTickle Academy courses and learning content with marketing.
Skills & Tools: Strong technical writing and documentation skills with ability to translate complex product functionality into clear user-facing content. Proficiency in content management systems, usability principles, and collaborative tools; excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Qualifications: Typically requires 5+ years of technical writing experience with demonstrated expertise in product documentation and knowledge base management. Bachelor's degree in technical communication, English, or related field preferred; experience with SaaS products and learning management systems is advantageous.
Location: In-Person - Pune
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹8,00,000 – ₹12,00,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.
Job Description
- Ensure that the MindTickle customers get a clear understanding of the product and it's functionality.
- Author MindTickle Knowledge base. Ensure that the articles and tutorials are easy to find, easy to use and always up-to-date with the product.
- Ensure that product terminologies, UI messages and instructions are grammatically flawless, user-friendly, effective and consistent throughout.
- Design and develop release documentation for product updates and feature release information.
- Participate in usability studies with the product design team to ensure product terminology and UI instructions are making the product easy to use.
- Co-own MindTickle Academy with marketing team which would have courses, tips and tricks on how to create great online courses.
