Job Description

As an Executive Assistant, you will partner directly with the CEO to keep Riverside Insights focused, coordinated, and moving forward as we grow the potential in every student through research‑backed assessments and modern learning tools.
In this role, your organization, judgment, and calm execution enable the CEO and leadership team to operate at their best in service of educators, clinicians, families, and learners nationwide.

This is a high‑impact, hands‑on operations role supporting the CEO during a pivotal chapter for Riverside Insights, a private‑equity backed ed‑tech company reinventing how assessments and learning tools reach the next generation of students.

You will act as a strategic partner, not just administrative support, ensuring time, information, and logistics are aligned to what matters most as Riverside continues to discover each learner’s unique strengths and challenges.

Priority given to candidates living in Atlanta, GA, or Charlotte, NC

What you will do:

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar as a strategic asset, building in smart defaults such as preparation time, protected focus blocks, and thoughtful sequencing of meetings.
  • Anticipate needs and look around corners by driving the CEO’s weekly 1:1 cadence, tracking key deliverables, and flagging risks before they become issues.
  • Coordinate complex domestic travel, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while maximizing the value of each trip through thoughtful scheduling and connections.
  • Own end‑to‑end logistics for board meetings, executive team and leaders offsites, leadership events, and other leadership and team gatherings, including vendor coordination and budget management.
  • Maintain the annual corporate cadence across board meetings, executive team and leaders meetings, all‑hands, and planning rhythms, ensuring consistency and follow‑through year over year.
  • Draft and manage written communications on behalf of the CEO, including scheduling notes, thank‑yous, and coordination with investors, board members, partners, and customers.
  • Provide targeted support to other C‑suite leaders through recurring meeting management, ad hoc coordination, and occasional event support.
  • Build trusted relationships across the executive and leadership teams, serving as connective tissue that enables clear communication and execution.

This role sits at the center of Riverside’s leadership team and directly impacts our ability to empower educators and support students with tools that meet the evolving needs of today’s classrooms and clinics.

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex calendars, travel, and logistics with precision and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, including accuracy with names, titles, and communications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to represent an executive professionally to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating with shifting priorities and high‑volume workloads without losing accuracy or composure.
  • Consistent availability during Eastern or Central time zone business hours.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI and productivity tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a CEO or executive team in technology, education, or high‑growth organizations.
  • Experience planning board meetings or leadership offsites.
  • Familiarity with private‑equity backed or investor‑engaged environments.
  • Based in or near Atlanta, GA.

Physical Requirements

  • Remote work environment.
  • Travel 1–2 times a year for off‑site team meetings or conferences.
  • May require stationary positions (sitting or standing) for extended periods.

Application Requirements

This role has a unique interview process. If you decide to apply, you'll be asked to complete an assignment and a 1-minute video.
