Summary

Inside Sales Representative at Oxford University Press engaging with college and university professors to promote digital course materials and influence adoption decisions through virtual interactions.

Key Responsibilities: Make an average of 30 calls daily to conduct needs analysis discussions and product demonstrations, supported by email campaigns, to generate and sustain OUP adoptions.
Skills & Tools: Strong computer skills and digital literacy, exceptional organizational and time management abilities, excellent interpersonal and written/oral communication skills, and ability to communicate persuasively and manage heavy workloads.
Qualifications: Experience in the Higher Education industry and familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM are desirable but not required. High school diploma or equivalent is implied as minimum education.
Location: Hybrid in Cary, North Carolina (2 days/week in office) or New York City, New York, with option for remote work anywhere in the United States.
Compensation: $39,900 – $57,000/year

ABOUT THE ROLE

Interact virtually with college and university professors to promote our digital course materials and influence adoption decisions. Responsible for making an average of 30 calls a day, supported by email campaigns, to secure opportunities to engage in a needs analysis conversation and demo our products to generate and sustain OUP adoptions.

ABOUT YOU

  • Strong computer skills and digital literacy
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills and ability to problem solve, prioritize, and manage heavy workloads and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
  • A professional manner and the ability to communicate persuasively
  • Experience in the Higher Education industry desirable but not required
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRM desirable but not required

Position Location: This role can be done in a hybrid environment in Cary, NC (2 times a week in office) or in New York City, New York. The role can also be done remotely in the United States.

Salary: $39,900 - $57,000 dependent on skills and experience
