Curriculum Associates is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented senior financial analyst to become a key member of the company’s FP&A team. This role will be responsible for performing various financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to support decision-making, with a key focus on supporting the company’s sales commissions. The ideal candidate is an analytical problem solver who can communicate effectively across functions.
The impact you'll have:
- Manage sales commission financials; including calculation of commission and incentive-based earnings for sales and sales adjacent teams, preparation of month-end journal entries, performance of variance analysis, and budgeting/forecasting
- Support FP&A, accounting, sales operations, and sales in structuring, delivering, and analyzing compensation for commission-driven employees
- Build and maintain insightful analytics around sales compensation to help support decision-making
- Identify and implement process improvements and make recommendations based on the assigned area(s) of responsibility.
- Provide business partnership in financial acumen and decision-making as well as execution of short term and long-term plans.
- Design, build financial and operational models/scenario planning
- Ensure compliance within company policies and procedures
Who we're looking for:
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain complex financial models for business support, including forecasting and variance analysis
- Strong attention to detail with proven track record in ensuring data accuracy
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, purpose-driven, collaborative environment
- Commissions experience a plus
Required Education and Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or related field required
- Minimum of two (2) years of analytical experience in Finance-related field
Benefits and Pay Range:
Pay Range – This role’s range is $69,250 - $118,250. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that Curriculum Associates considers in making compensation decisions based on our Compensation Philosophy. Actual base pay within that range will vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, prior experience and relevant skill sets. At Curriculum Associates, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances for each case. This role is also eligible to participate in the company bonus plan. The Company recognizes that minimum wage varies by location and will ensure all compensation decisions comply with applicable state and local laws.
