Role Snapshot

SPG Therapy & Education seeks School Psychologists to conduct psycho-educational assessments and provide counseling services to students while supporting special education eligibility determination and IEP processes. The role impacts students' educational and mental health outcomes through collaborative work with schools, families, and staff.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct psycho-educational assessments following California and Federal guidelines, prepare comprehensive written reports with diagnoses and recommendations, certify special education eligibility, participate in IEP meetings, and provide counseling and consultative support on mental health, learning, and behavior issues.
Skills & Tools: California PPS Credential, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong speaking, writing, and listening abilities, and capacity to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment.
Qualifications: California PPS Credential required, fingerprint background clearance, and tuberculosis (TB) clearance. Strong background in conducting psycho-educational assessments and special education procedures.
Location: Sacramento, California
Compensation: $88K–$120K/yr
