Role Snapshot
Join Campus as a FAFSA Processor to support students in navigating the financial aid process and completing their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This entry-level, student-facing role directly impacts students' ability to fund their education.
Key Responsibilities: Reach out to students regarding aid applications, provide personalized guidance through the FAFSA process, explain eligibility requirements and documentation needs, troubleshoot common issues, and assist with financial aid workshops and events. Track student progress and escalate complex cases to senior staff as needed.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to simplify complex topics; detail-oriented, patient, proactive, and organized with comfort reaching out to students and parents. Ability to explain unfamiliar processes clearly and supportively.
Qualifications: Basic familiarity with FAFSA or willingness to learn; previous experience in customer service or counseling is a plus. High school diploma or equivalent required (implied for entry-level role).
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Compensation: $47K–$56K/yr
