Summary
Amplify seeks an experienced Math Instructional Coach to support NYC educators through fixed-term employment (2025-2027) by enhancing teaching practices and improving student outcomes. The role combines on-site collaboration four days per week with strategic planning to drive instructional excellence.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct classroom observations, provide educator feedback, lead professional development sessions, co-teach model lessons, and analyze student work and formative assessment data to inform instructional decisions. Support lesson planning, lead lesson study cycles, and cultivate model classrooms while partnering with district/school leadership to adjust coaching strategies based on evolving needs.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in data analysis for instructional decision-making, relationship building, effective communication, and technology tools. Strong coaching ability with outcomes-centered orientation and flexibility to pivot strategies based on feedback and student results.
Qualifications: 5+ years of math teaching experience combined with demonstrated coaching skills and deep knowledge of problem-based learning in K-8 education. Master's degree is preferred.
Location: Remote from New York, United States of America (on-site collaboration with NYC schools four days per week)
Compensation: $85,000 β $100,000 / annually
