Summary
This is an independent contractor role as a LETRS (Language Essentials for Teachers of Reading and Spelling) Professional Learning Facilitator for Cambium Learning Group. The position involves training and consulting educators on research-based literacy instruction methods.
Key Responsibilities: Deliver LETRS professional development training to educators and school districts, and provide consulting services to support implementation of language essentials curriculum. Facilitate workshops, lead collaborative learning sessions, and guide teachers in applying evidence-based reading and spelling instruction strategies.
Skills & Tools: Expertise in literacy instruction, LETRS curriculum knowledge, and adult professional development facilitation. Strong presentation, communication, and consulting abilities with the capacity to work independently and manage multiple client engagements.
Qualifications: Extensive experience as a reading specialist, literacy coach, or educational trainer with deep knowledge of the Science of Reading. Required background in K-12 education and previous professional development delivery experience.
