Assist the University of Nebraska Athletic Department in providing comprehensive athletic training services to student athletes in Men's & Women's Track & Field/Cross Country. Support injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation with coverage during practices, competitions, and required travel.
Key Responsibilities: Provide athletic training room operations support including injury prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for track and field/cross country athletes. Cover practices and competitions, travel with teams, and work extended hours including nights, weekends, and select holidays.
Skills & Tools: Demonstrated knowledge of athletic training principles, injury assessment and rehabilitation techniques, and strong organizational abilities. Commitment to diversity and inclusion with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with diverse student-athlete populations.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field with current or eligible for Athletic Training Certification. Previous experience in athletic training, preferably in a collegiate or competitive athletics setting.
Location: In-Person
Compensation: $28K–$38K/yr (estimated)
