At YSS, we create hope and opportunity by putting kids first. Our Ember Recovery Campus is a trauma-informed residential treatment program serving adolescents and young adults on their path to recovery.

We are seeking a collaborative, organized, and people-focused Recruitment & Training Coordinator to support Ember’s hiring and onboarding efforts—ensuring we bring in and develop the right people to do this meaningful work.

What You’ll Do

Recruitment & Talent Pipeline
  • Build and maintain strong candidate pipelines for hard-to-fill roles

  • Represent YSS at job fairs, community events, and outreach opportunities

  • Provide candidates with realistic job previews and campus tours

  • Partner with People Development on screening and interview processes

Hiring Manager Support & Workforce Planning
  • Collaborate with Ember leadership to anticipate staffing needs

  • Support hiring managers with role clarity and interview coordination

  • Track recruitment activity and identify trends to improve hiring strategies

  • Promote hiring practices aligned with trauma-informed care and YSS values

Onboarding & New Hire Experience
  • Coordinate Ember-specific onboarding and training schedules

  • Serve as a welcoming point of contact for new employees

  • Ensure smooth team integration and readiness from day one

  • Submit required documentation to People Development for processing

Training Coordination
  • Organize ongoing training logistics and track attendance

  • Support supervisors in identifying training needs

  • Ensure completion records are submitted for systems like Relias and Paycom
