Role Snapshot

Classroom Installer for Lakeshore Learning Materials, responsible for setting up educational classroom environments at various locations nationwide. This role involves physical labor and teamwork to ensure classrooms are properly installed and ready for use.

Key Responsibilities: Unload trucks, assemble furniture, lift and carry heavy boxes, set up classrooms, and clean up debris during installation projects. Work primarily during weekday daytime hours with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
Skills & Tools: Physical strength and stamina for lifting heavy materials, basic assembly and installation skills, attention to detail, teamwork and communication abilities, and reliability in meeting project timelines.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; no specific experience required, though prior installation or manual labor experience is beneficial. Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly and work in a fast-paced team environment.
Location: In-Person - Bronx, NY
Compensation: $32Kโ€“$42K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

We are looking for hardworking folks to become a part of our classroom installation teams nationwide. Our local teams are trained to provide unbeatable service from the moment they arrive, taking care of every detail from start to finish! This position primarily requires availability during weekday daytime hours. Occasional weekend shifts may be required based on business needs. During classroom installations, you will:

  • Unload trucks
  • Assemble furniture
  • Lift and carry heavy boxes
  • Set up classrooms
  • Clean up debris
