Role Snapshot

Lead the successful execution and management of aiEDU's national cohort-based learning programs, including the Trailblazers Fellowship and Professional Learning Community initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Manage the full lifecycle of the Trailblazers Fellowship from recruitment and selection through participant onboarding and engagement. Facilitate synchronous learning sessions, conduct quality control reviews, maintain video libraries, develop alumni programming, and lead conference presentations.
Skills & Tools: Strong program management and facilitation skills with the ability to engage diverse participants across time zones. Demonstrated experience with curriculum design, learning platform management (such as Mighty Networks), and strategic partnership development.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in program management, professional development, or education settings, preferably with cohort-based or fellowship programs. Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in education, instructional design, or related field.
Location: In-Person - San Francisco
Compensation: $105K–$115K/yr

aiEDU is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that is devoted to ensuring all students are ready to live, work, and thrive in a world where AI is everywhere. We work with education systems to advance AI Literacy and AI Readiness.

We do this by working with education systems and developing with high quality curriculum professional development and strategic partnerships.

Role

The Lead is responsible for the successful execution and management of aiEDU's national cohort-based learning programs, including the Trailblazers and PLC (Professional Learning Community) initiatives. This role ensures a high-quality, engaging experience for participants, manages the full program lifecycle from recruitment to completion, and supports the content team with ongoing review and design updates ensuring alignment with aiEDU’s AI Readiness Framework. This role also includes leading the development of our Trailblazers alumni programming and engaging in national and local conferences.

Professional Learning is a centerpiece of our programing and essential to supporting aiEDUs mission of ensuring all students are prepared to thrive in a world where AI is ubiquitous. The Trailblazers Fellowship is a flagship program that this role will oversee and implement. This role will report to the Director of National Programs and will work in partnership with the Director of Learning.

Role Details

  • This is a full-time role
  • Up to 15% travel for facilitation, conferences, and/or program implementation
  • This role does sometimes require facilitation of early morning and/or later evening sessions across time zones.
  • Compensation for this role is $105,000-$115,000, with starting salaries usually starting in the middle of the range.

Responsibilities

Trailblazer Fellowship Management & Implementation (50%)

  • Lead the annual planning, strategy, and application processes for both Year 1 and Year 2 Trailblazer cohorts.
  • In coordination with the Learning Operations Specialist, manage the full recruitment and selection cycle for the Fellowship, including applicant review and participant onboarding.
  • Facilitate highly engaging synchronous learning sessions for Year 1 and Year 2 Trailblazers, ensuring content is practical and current.
  • Execute program preparation tasks, including session setup, participant follow-up, and managing engagement within the Mighty Networks platform.
  • Perform quality control through the detailed review of participant videos and product submissions to assess program impact.
  • Lead the ongoing design and integration of AI updates into Fellowship materials to ensure they reflect the evolving AI landscape.
  • Oversee the curation and maintenance of the internal Video Library to support ongoing professional learning needs.

National Program Implementation (25%)

  • Direct the implementation of National PLCs, including session facilitation and the review of final PLC educator submissions.
  • Coordinate logistical and operational aspects of national implementations and external engagement at conferences.
  • Develop and execute an alumni engagement strategy to maintain relationships with former program participants.
  • Ensure all national program materials meet the high-quality bar for AI Readiness established by the Learning team.
  • Collaborate with the Programs and External teams to share implementation successes across appropriate organizational channels.
  • Participate and present at national conferences on behalf of aiEDU

Internal Team Collaboration (25%)

  • Actively participate in weekly team meetings and administrative updates to ensure organizational alignment.
  • Engage in regular coaching and feedback sessions with the Director of Learning to strengthen facilitation and design practices.
  • Dedicate time to continuous AI learning to remain fluent in emerging tools and educational applications.
  • Manage role-specific administrative tasks, documentation, and reporting efficiently.
  • Collaborate with the Research and Evaluation team to use data from implementations to inform future program improvements.
  • Support team members in facilitation and program implementation as needed

About You

You might be a great match for this role if you have:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in education, program management, and/or leading adult professional learning, with a focus on implementation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, multi-cohort programs concurrently, including recruitment, logistics, and completion tracking.
  • Expertise in designing and facilitating highly engaging asynchronous and synchronous adult learning experiences.
  • Fluency with AI tools and an innovative approach to applying AI Readiness in educational settings.
  • A detail-oriented and organized approach to project management, coupled with clear and timely communication skills.
  • Agility to use multiple technologies (e.g., Google Suite, Canva, Mighty Network) for various projects.
  • A strong track record of seeking, applying, and providing productive feedback.
