We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Salesforce CPQ Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Salesforce CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) system. The Sr. CPQ Configuration Administrator supports the Amplify Salesforce platform and related systems. This person is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the CPQ platform. They will work closely with business partners, development team members, and technical resources to make sure the platform meets the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Salesforce development team members to translate business requirements into solutions that reinforce standard methodologies and best practices within CPQ Salesforce 
  • Identify opportunities to optimize CPQ processes and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement CPQ best practices and standards within the organization.
  • Maintain data quality and integrity within the CPQ system, including regular audits and clean-ups.
  • Develop and generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into CPQ performance and metrics.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver CPQ solutions that meet business needs.
  • Keep up to date with the latest releases and capabilities of CPQ
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of CPQ processes, configurations, and customizations.
  • Ensure tight integration between CPQ and Salesforce contracts, and build upon existing amendment and contract process

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience focused on Salesforce CPQ
  • Salesforce CPQ Specialist and Salesforce administrator certifications required
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ architecture, features, and capabilities
  • Proven experience leveraging Copado for Salesforce DevOps.
  • Proficient in using Copado for version control, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical/problem-solving skills and ability to follow procedures 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong familiarity with agile software development practices and tools
  • Demonstrated ability to design and document software solutions 
  • Experience with building automation and configuration based solutions
  • Solution-oriented with a high sense of quality, attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency, and meeting tight deadlines 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience with CPQ Quote Calculator Plugin
  • Salesforce Advanced Administrator Certification
  • Familiarity with custom Force.com application building
  • Capable of working with a mix of in person, remote and offshore team members
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, set priorities, and work in a team with diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Team player who is also able to operate independently and handle conflicting priorities while maintaining consistent, quality performance standards
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively while delivering high-quality work
  • Ability to work across several lines of business to achieve long term organizational goals
  • Experience with tools we don’t use but should, and the wisdom to know when to recommend them
  • Interested in teaching fellow Amplifiers
  • Experience in education or ed-tech industry

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $105,000 - $120,000. This role is eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
