Role Snapshot
Director, Global Compensation at Coursera leads the design and execution of global compensation programs across multiple regions while partnering with senior leaders to shape compensation strategy. This role manages a growing compensation team and plays a key leadership position within the broader People Operations organization.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee end-to-end global compensation cycles, benchmarking, job architecture, pay structures, decision frameworks, compliance, and analytics across Americas, EMEA, and APAC. Partner with Finance, Talent Acquisition, People Partners, and senior business leaders to develop and operationalize compensation programs that ensure fairness, competitiveness, and alignment with business needs.
Skills & Tools: Extensive experience in global HR and compensation strategy, strong leadership abilities, and proficiency in compensation analytics tools with experience in the SaaS or technology sector. Strong interpersonal skills, experience with public companies, and ability to support diverse global markets.
Qualifications: Demonstrated experience leading global compensation functions and managing cross-functional teams; experience with public companies is preferred. Background in HR operations or total rewards with knowledge of multi-region compensation compliance and best practices.
