Role Snapshot

Corporate Trainer Level 1 for Language/ESL & Foreign Languages at Houston Community College System, responsible for developing and delivering language instruction to diverse student populations across multiple HCC centers. Key Responsibilities: Design and deliver engaging ESL and foreign language training sessions across HCC's 14 Centers of Excellence and satellite locations. Assess student proficiency, adapt curriculum to diverse learning needs, and utilize both traditional and technology-enhanced instructional methods.

Skills & Tools: Proficiency in ESL instruction and foreign language pedagogy with strong communication and presentation abilities. Experience with curriculum development, student assessment, and multicultural classroom management in diverse educational settings.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required, typically in Education, Linguistics, ESL, or a foreign language discipline with demonstrated teaching experience. Prior experience as an ESL/foreign language instructor or corporate trainer preferred.

Location: US

Compensation: Estimated: $38,000 – $48,000/year based on Level 1 trainer position, community college employer, Houston market, and ESL/language specialization
